Could We Have Saved Any of Our People in Benghazi?

Fox News has an account of the timeline in the Benghazi attack and the US response. It raises a ton of questions. We already know that in the months leading up to 9-11, the mission in Libya had requested enhanced security for Benghazi several times only to be turned down. Now the administration, State Department and Department of Defense need to answer the basic question: Could we have saved any one's lives in Benghazi? It is believed that Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith died at the Consulate in the initial phase. It is also believed that the two ex Navy Seals died some 7 hours later at the annex a mile away while firing their machine guns.

Putting politics aside, we owe it to them and their families to have a full and honest investigation.

YOU, Gary, "putting politics aside"??????

That's funny.

If ANYONE talking about this subject had exhibited ANY interest whatsoever BUT making political brownie points, pouncing on any allegation that seemed convenient, dismissing any fact that seemed inconvenient, we might have had a sober review of the situation by now.

This has been nothing BUT a game of "let's see if we can hang this on Obama before the election," AND, on the other hand "Whatever happened, let's try to play it down for now."

You've muddied the waters so badly, you have zero credibility piously seeking a semblance of the truth now.
