Hassan al Qazwini
Hassan al Qazwini is the head imam of the Islamic Center of America in Michigan, the largest mosque in the US. The Detroit Free Press has quoted his words this week in the face of the continuing violence in the Middle East. While he condemns the violence, he seems to want the US to stop those whom he feels are blaspheming Islam.

Al-Qazwini is apparently also known as Sayed Hassan al Qazwini and is one of a family of Iraqi clerics who have immigrated to the US. Sayed Hassan al Qazwini of the Islamic Center of America is mentioned in the below article written by Joe Kaufman for Frontpage Magazine back in 2005.
