More Violence Against Coptic Christians in Egypt

Hat tip to Assyrian International News Agency

(AINA)

The violence against Christians in Egypt continues as reported here by the Assyrian International News Agency. Over one hundred Copt families were forced to flee a village as their homes and businesses were put to the torch.

This is precisely the type of violence that our feckless State Department does not want to hear about-much less report. Why do you think they have omitted reports of religious persecution for the past year in their annual human rights report? They don't want to have to report the horrific numbers of Christians, Baha'i and others being subjected to hate and violence as part of the "Arab Spring". They want us to believe that there is a great democratic sea change going on in the Middle East.

"Yes, I spoke to the Egyptian president this morning, and he assured me of his deep concern for the rights of the Copts. Say, where is that boy with the cocktails?"

The Copts have 3 options:

1. Leave
2. Pay the Jizya
3. Convert to Islam

There will be no other option under this new government.

No, do not send in the Marines, but these are people I would gladly accept as refugees.
