France's Long Hot Summer or "Who Dunnit?"

It is August in France, and you know what that means. The French are all clogging the autoroutes heading for some beach resort as the cities empty out.

Well, almost empty out. In Amiens, riots are breaking out, and nobody knows who the rioters are.

"While the identity of the rioters and the immediate cause is unclear...."

I can only surmise that the reason Fox doesn't know who is rioting, it is because the French news agencies are not telling us. Maybe it is a re-run of Night of the Living Dead-French style.

Here are the last two posts from Le Figaro

From both of those articles in French, we can ascertain only that the rioters are young people.

Maybe they are angry that Mom and Dad didn't take them along to the beach.

Well, so much for the media. As usual, we must turn to the blogosphere to get the news that the news media will not tell us. In this case, we go to American Thinker.

Somebody tell the French.
