Latest From One New Heart

Hank Dannecker of One New Heart has just sent us an update on the latest child they have assisted in getting life-saving heart surgery at an Israeli hospital.

Dear Friends & Family,

Hear is just a small part of the story by Ruth Strickler.

What an incredible experience to once again see God's hand of healing on yet another child!

On Sunday we got word from Dawn, with Save a Child's Heart, that Malac Sede was rescheduled for surgery on Monday instead of Tuesday as had been previously planned.  We rearranged our schedule and Hank, Ryan Lehman (vice president on 1NewHeart's board) and I, headed to Tel Aviv for the surgery.  We were able to watch the entire process and even got to see her back in the intensive care unit sleeping quietly with her mother at her side.  The doctor seemed quite pleased with the surgery and said she is doing very well.

Continue to pray for Malac and her body as it begins the long healing process. Pray for her spiritual heart that God would some day claim her for His own. Pray for the Sede family.  This is a very vulnerable time for them but God's love is amazing enough to redeem them even in the midst of turmoil.

Pray for us as we go back to visit tomorrow and get to know Malac's mother and family.

Coming soon:  A miracle story from the life of Dr. Godwin Godfrey the surgeon who performed the operation on Malac.
As well as a more detailed report on Malac Sede.

We thank God for His grace more abundantly!
