Ben Shapiro on the Anti-Semitic Atmosphere on UC Campuses

"Problems? What problems? We got it under control, right boys?"

Ben Shapiro, writing for Frontpage Magazine, hits the nail on the head (for the most part) with his article on the Israel Apartheid weeks reigning supreme on University of California campuses.

Too bad there wasn't more about UC Irvine, where the problem is especially acute. The other point Shapiro missed was the negative influence of the Jewish Federation (at least in Orange County) and most of the Hillel chapters as evidenced by that absurd letter they wrote a few months back to the LA Jewish Journal that there was no problem on the UC campuses under the great leadership of UC President Mark Yudof and his all-star team of chancellors (sarcastic phraseology mine).

The problem here is that the university is scared to death of the various Muslim Student Associations who bring these sordid events to our campuses.  Even if some Jewish students complain about incidents of anti-Semitism, they are ignored by university officials and not supported by Jewish oragnizations that supposedly are there to do precisely that-support them.

Just last week, UCI had to endure another Israel Apartheid week, which the campus newspaper headlined as "Liberation comes to UCI", as Amir Abdel Malik Ali spewed his poison and four members of the so-called "Irvine 11" proudly proclaimed that if the Israeli ambassador returned to speak at UCI, they would be there to disrupt him again.

Problems? What problems?
