If you are a Dane living in the Danish town of Odense (home town of Hans Christian Andersen), it's time to get the Hell out because you are considered the Ugly Duckling and are not welcome. Pravda has the depressing report.

When I first began visiting Denmark in the 1960s, it was considered the most welcoming country in Europe for foreigners. It looks like the welcome has been abused.

Pravda... yes, all my life I was taught that if you want to know the truth of what is happening in the world you read Pravda, not, God forbid, the New York Times. Gus Hall will be waiting to give Gary Fouse a big comradely hug at the Pearly Gates.
Seriously, there is probably some truth to this, but Pravda quoting some blog? Any Danish sources? I really don't believe that nobody in Denmark is talking about it if it is this bad.
There is no reason police need to focus on the nationality or motive. They need to focus on showing dispassionately that if you mug people on the street, smash their cars, and break into their homes, you get arrested, tried, and if convicted, sentenced.
