I don't have any empirical proof here, but I would suggest Fox News go back and carefully check those sentences about the quoted statistics that refer to legally-registered Hispanic votes. We all know that the pro-illegal immigration crowd likes to talk about "immigrants" when talking about illegal immigrants, and I suspect some loose language is at play here. Are we sure that those statistics are not just referring to any and all Hispanics-US citizens, legal immigrants, or otherwise? I also wonder how many of these "registered voters" are ACORN-style registered voters. I suspect that a legitimate voter, Hispanic or otherwise, has some form of picture ID. Anyone who doesn't has only himself or herself to blame.
Thomas Perez, by the way, is the number two man, just below Holder, on the DOJ conspiracy pyramid. Anytime you see his name mentioned, grab your wallet and hide the kids.

No I don't think Obama has a chance in Texas, but I still find the actions of DOJ disturbing. What is your point-that because Obama can't win Texas, it's ok to commit voter fraud?

Get on Welfare
Get Food Stamps
Get Section 8 Housing
Rent an apartment or house
Get a job
Cash a check
Rent a video
Use a Debt Card
Use a EBT Card
Apply for Social Security
Drive a car
But not to vote? This is BS and everyone knows it.
My point is that if you stop and think logically about this nonsense for more than three seconds, you can easily see that it's a bunch of baseless paranoia.
I think this quote from the article says it all:
"If citizens are required to show ID in order to open a bank account, cash a check, drive a car or board a plane, how much more important is it to show ID in order to exercise one of our most valuable democratic rights?" he asked. "This is an abuse of executive authority and an affront to the citizens of Texas. It's time for the Obama administration to learn not to mess with Texas."
It is a fact of life now that you have to submit all kinds of identification all the time. Try calling your broker or credit card company.
Considering that it is the integrity of the vote that is concerned here, it is not too much to as for some identification. The only reason not to is because you anticipate cheating during the voting process and this would make it a little tougher.

It is a long way up from Mexico to travel to a Texas DMV.
In additon, Obama has made it easier to come up from Mexico, because he has taken the National Guard from the border and stopped patroling vast areas of the boarder.

Good for Holder. My state's recently passed photo ID law has been temporarily enjoined, pending trial, by a judge, God bless him.

Amen to the first half of that statement.
The objections to voter ID requirements are somewhat similar to support of multi-lingual ballots, in that both processes greatly facilitate the casting of illegitimate votes by ineligible/non-citizen individuals.
Is is no accident that it is Democrats, who generally depend upon minorities for election in many areas, who maintain that voter ID requirements and absence of ballots in languages other than English are discriminatory, without regard for the resulting voter fraud.
