Berkeley College Republicans Ask, "Where is Birgeneau?"

Today, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan is speaking at UC Berkeley on behalf of the Black Student Union. In the campus newspaper, Daily California, College Republican leader Shawn Lewis asks, "Where is (Berkeley Chancellor Robert) Birgeneau?"

But thanks to Shawn for having the courage to speak out that university administrators don't have. Thanks to Shawn for reminding me that Birgeneau should also attend this event with UC president Mark Yudof and sound off on the disgrace that has come to Berkeley-courtesy of the Black Student Union, which apparently, has yet to learn that all groups should be protected from hate-not just theirs.
