UNESCO Votes to Keep Syria on Human Rights Panel

Hat tip to Pro-Israel Bay Bloggers

Here's a fun fact that the mainstream news media may have overlooked. It was not overlooked by my pals at Pro-Israel Bay Bloggers. In the face of all this carnage going on in Syria, UNESCO has voted to keep that charming little nation of their Human Rights Panel.

That is YOUR UN, folks. The US is paying 22% of their budget.

"Ah, wunnerful, ah wunnerful, ah."

And you think those who say we should get out of the UN are extremists?

Just who are the extremists?

"Good news, mein Fuehrer. Germany is still on the UN Human Rights panel."

The UN has more clowns running the show than Barnum and Bailey ever had in all its history. UN still thinks there is Man Made Global Warming, in spite of all the evidence that its is a carefully calculated hoax. They blame Israel for all the conflict in the Middle East. The IOC is embraced, even though there is human rights violations, daily, especially with equal rights for women. Just yesterday, Saudi Arabia water cannoned a large group of women protesters who wanted more rights.
Here is the kicker, Leon Penetta, the man who runs the Pentagon, feels that he has to have the OK from this International organization before it engages with Iran. Leon must have missed the memo that states his sovereignty is to the United States, not the 57 country IOC.
I hope Israel does not wait for the U.S. to have its mind made up by the "57", as Obama is out of the office campaigning.

Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue.

Extremism in defence of liberty is an oxymoron.

So what does the International Olympic Committee have to do with anything? Something about Romney running for president?

The UN, like so many leftist utopia ideas, has in practice turned into an unbelievable failure (besides a few notable exceptions) in all its goals. It has brought more harm overall to the world than benefits. It has overlooked or sanctioned outrages when its majority states may have been implicated.

We should get out of it entirely and get it out of the US. It would be better to start an organization of democracies.

This idiocy of having Syria, which is at war with its citizens, is on the Human Rights Council! Unbelievable! They must be supported by the majority of third world Muslim countries.
