New York Firebomb Suspect Arrested

An anonymous reader on this blog recently brought to my attention a series of firebomb incidents that occurred over the new years holiday in New York, in which an Islamic center was hit. (A Hindu site was also struck.)  I had not been aware of it and checked into the report. At the time, the perpetrator had not been identified. On the comment thread, I told the reader that I condemned the attack.

Now the NYPD has arrested a suspect. The below report tells us who he is and why he allegedly did it.

So there we are. A low-life Guyanese guy who had personal beefs with each of the locations. The Islamic center was reportedly hit because they wouldn't let him use the bathroom.

I am relieved that this was not a case of "Islamophobia" and that the mosque was apparently not targeted due to religious reasons. That also goes for the Hindu site. Thank goodness nobody was injured. Throwing firebombs at mosques is something Americans do not do.

So what does CAIR say now after they cried, "Islamophobia"?

What does my anonymous reader say now?

I guess CAIR is crying that the suspect isn't a Chasidic Jew. Maybe next time.

My guess is that sometime until the suspect is caught, an arab will be blamed.

Not being able to use the bathroom is pretty valid in making anyone pretty darn upset.
