Reporter To White House: "Has Obama Given Up On Hope And Change?’"

This week, Fox News reporter Ed Henry asked White House spokesman Jay Carney whatever happened to Obama's "Hope and Change" stuff. Below is Carney's "articulate " response. (Hat tip to Breitbart TV)

"That's it, Jay. You got it."

OK, I watched the video. It was boring, but the headline "Has Obama Given Up On Hope and Change?" is a complete non sequitir. Basically, the spokesperson gave an off the cuff account of some of the president's signature accomplishments.

That said, it would be a good idea to eliminate the office of White House spokespeople. This is basically a young twirp barely past the intern stage giving their opinion of what the President of the United States is thinking. Absurd. And reporters think it is worth their time to ask these questions? Pathetic.

Siarlys,

Actually, Jay Carney is a journalist himself (liberal of course). If I am not mistaken, he is married to TV reporter Claire Shipman.

I don't care who he is married to, or even what degree he has. He is not the President of the United States. Whatever he says, with no degrees or 50,000 of them, is his considered opinion of what he believes he understands the president to have said, or to be thinking, or to have meant, or...

If he is a journalist, he ought to be out asking questions and writing stories. In his current job, he's not a journalist.
