When people make outrageous predictions, It's a good idea to write them down for future reference when they don't come true. Gateway Pundit writer Jim Hoft has done just that regarding Al Gore's dire predictions about the North Pole ice cap.

Three days ago, Gore stated that one of the planks for the candidates for the U.S. president and perhaps the President should be man made global warming. Well, take you took a look at Alaska, if you can find it under record snow. They would love a melt around this time.
Remember, Al's stupid statement about global warming back in the day when he was a major stockholder in CCX (supported by Obama). "Scientists" claiming man made global warming need to go to jail for their bogus scientific methods, to produce the perception of a doomsday global meltdown.

Regardless of what Al Gore did or didn't say, does or doesn't know, it is a well documented fact that huge portions of the Arctic Ocean have been navigable for the first time since before the last ice age. There are clearly changes going on, they are of recent origin, and they ten toward warmer, not colder.
Just because Al Gore is a vulnerable personality doesn't make you look good bent over with your head buried in the sand.
