David Solway, writing in PJ Media, issues a call for Jews to wake up to the fact that anti-Jewish hatred is on the march. Gentiles also need to wake up to this fact and stand against it.

Solway is correct. We are witnessing a world-wide resurgence in anti-Semitism. In Europe, it is mostly fueled by Muslim immigrants, enabled by cowardly Europeans who are afraid to stand up and defend their Jewish citizens. In the US, it is also growing, fueled by the campaign of hate and lies directed at the state of Israel with the ultimate goal of destroying the Jewish state. Aside from the Islamists, we can also point the finger of blame to the academic left wing prevailing on university campuses. Incredibly, many of these people are of Jewish origin themselves. Their left-wing bias takes precedence over their Jewish identity, even in the face of an existential threat against Israel and their co-religionists.
I have seen it personally at UC Irvine, which, each year, hosts a week of hate-filled speeches by anti-Israel activists, many of whom are Jewish themselves, brought to campus by the Muslim Student Union or the Students for Justice in Palestine. They share the podium with the likes of Amir Adbel Malik Ali and Mohammed al-Asi, who openly condemn Jews as a people in their speeches. I was present last year when the Muslim Student Union disrupted a speech by Israeli ambassador Michael Oren-and were celebrated as heroes and martyrs by everyone on the left-including many Jewish professors and activists.
I have also witnessed the denial and inaction of supposedly Jewish advocacy groups like the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Federation, the latter of which actually funds the odious Olive Tree Initiative, which sends Jewish (and other) University of California students to Israel and the West Bank, "to hear both sides" of the conflict. Most of what they get is pro-Palestinian propaganda by experienced activists with roots in and connections to the International Solidarity Movement.
The sad fact is that anyone, Jewish or Gentile, who decides to fight anti-Semitism, is going to have to fight a significant portion of the Jewish community itself, including most of their so-called leadership. I say that from personal experience. If, God forbid, a second Holocaust occurs, history will condemn a lot of Jews who will share in the guilt.

Whining. If there were a second Churban Europa on the horizon (please don't call it the "holocaust," a term for a burnt sacrifice pleasing to the Lord), I wouldn't call this whining. But it is whining. Perhaps that is why it doesn't get much traction, even among Jews.
You could call it Shoa, but you couldn't make a convincing case that it is happening again. The first half of an analogy is always easier than the second, in which it resembles life, but not, of course, love.
No? The so-called Jewish Leaders today are acting exactly as they did in the 30s and 40s during the Holocaust. (Oh I forgot. To Siarlys only Arabs have experienced a Holocaust [At the hands of the Jews.].)
This time around those of us who can get out are, and we also know who we can turn to to hide us. I feel that Gary and his wife would help out, but Siarlys would not only not help, but gladly turn in the Jews for the reward.
Findalis, I have seldom if ever called you a hysterical fool, but your words this time would certain lend some credence to such a characterization.
First, Arabs have NEVER experienced a Churban at the hands of Jews. There are certainly a good number of Jewish settlers who are brutal and homicidal toward Arabs, and contemptuous of the private property of their neighbors, but that isn't a Churban.
The Jewish leaders you refer to in the 30s must be those who advised Jewish voters to support the Nazis, for fear that the communists might win. A bit of a losing tactic, that.
And if there is a mob or a secret police detachment after you, you can hide in my closet anytime. I'll even venture out to find you kosher food.
