What the Hell is Environmental Justice??

"Environmental Justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies. EPA has this goal for all communities and persons across this Nation. It will be achieved when everyone enjoys the same degree of protection from environmental and health hazards and equal access to the decision-making process to have a healthy environment in which to live, learn, and work."
-Environmental Protection Agency

(Can't make this stuff up, folks.)

Dailer Caller brings us up to date on what the EPA is up to these days under the leadership of Lisa Jackson, one of a myriad of activist worker bees that President Obama has put into positions of pwer in our government.

“We’re looking to the people and community organizations who know these areas best to find the places where green jobs and environmental protection are going to do the most good,” said Jackson in a statement. “Creating good green jobs proves that we don’t have to choose between cleaning up our air and our water or creating jobs in our communities. We’re showing that it’s possible to do both at the same time.”

Of course, this is just another ingredient in this massive Green scam that began when Obama appointed Van Jones as his Green Jobs Czar. It's another angle in the grand sceme of income distribution.

Below is EPA's description of EJ 2014:

How about some Environmental Justice for the folks living in Arizona between the border and Tucson, a prime pathway for illegal aliens?

That looks like a shovel ready job right there.

How about some Environmental Justice for poor folks in the inner cities who have to live behind barred windows and steel-gated doors and who are afraid to venture out on their streets at night for fear of being shot?

How about some Environmental Justice for poor kids who can't study and learn in school because said schools are infested with gangs and guns?

How about some Environmental Justice for folks in Philadelphia who get attacked by mobs on the street because "they were the wrong color"?

"Well, that's not the kind of Environmental Justice we have in mind."

It took a while to think of anything worth saying about this Gary. I can't believe that a man who uses language as you do could have qualified to teach it.

The EPA is responsible for the biological environment.

They are not the department of education, not the justice department, not the department responsible for policemen on patrol...

...Do you really WANT Lisa Jackson in charge of all those things??? I didn't think so. Talk about "big government" exceeding its mandate!

The EPA is responsible for administering programs to keep the earth, or at least North America, in condition we can continue to drink and swim in the water, breath the air, eat our food, and not die as a result.

They have thought they might try to do this in a way that is just and equitable for all residents of America. That means, no cleaning up the lake around the country club and the million dollar mansions by dumping all the chemicals in some neighborhood that working families can afford.

And you can't sort that out? Perhaps you should be teaching English at UC Santa Cruz.
