Excerpt of Oskar Freysinger Speech in Berlin-"Have We Gone Mad?"

Oskar Freysinger

Oskar Freysinger is the leader of the Swiss People's Party and was a leader in the recent measure passed by Swiss voters that banned further minaret construction. This week, he gave a speech in Berlin. An excerpt of it is posted on Vlad Tepes.

Before you pass Freysinger off as a racist, listen to his words (translation is added) that stress that he is not against a people, rather it is for people and against subjugation of people (including Muslims themselves.) He has also publicly debated Swiss Muslim activist Tariq Ramadan, grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al Banna.  To be sure, Freysinger faces the usual opposition from the left including physical assaults and efforts to cancel his speaking appearances.

As an example of the opposition Freysinger faces, below is a link to a speech he gave in Brussels last year in which he addresses efforts to silence him. (Hat tip to Right Side News)

I gyuess you didn't listen to his words. You just noted the bombastic oratorical sytle, which went out of fashion after 1945.

The bombastic oratorical style did indeed go out of style after 1945. There was a good reason for that.

The words have a certain 21st century subtlety to them, but a good spin doctor for a speech writer can't hide the essence of what this man stands for.
