Thank God for Spoker of the House Nancy Pelosi. You can always count on her for comic relief coming out of Washington. Now she says that the fact that there will be no GOP response to President Obama's Thursday night "Jobs Speech" is an affront to the American people.

Maybe it's because the Republicans are no more capable of "Creating Jobs" than Obama and the Democrats-unless they simply get out of the way and no nothing except let the private sector do what it does best (no snide comments from the left, please).
Besides, why risk giving a flopperoo rebuttal to what promises to be another Obama flopperoo speech?

As it looks many stations will not be covering this attempt of Obama to use a speech as a political event.
Pelosi outlived her useful function in 2006, just as the Republican Party outlived its useful function in 1877.
The private sector doesn't solve problems well at all. If it did, I would not merely be a libertarian, but an anarchist. Since neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are willing to stand up to galloping oligarchy, true enough, neither one will establish a reasonable balance in the flow of money and capital which provides a reasonable opportunity for everyone to work and make a good living.
