Columbia University Group to Hold Banquet With Ahmadinejad

Once again, we will be graced by a visit this month by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when he comes to speak at the UN. As if that wasn't bad enough as Iran continues to hold two Americans in custody on trumped-up charges, Ahmadinejad will once again be hosted by Columbia University. This time, an undergraduate group called CIRCA (Columbia International Relations Council Association) plans to hold a luncheon to be attended by students and the terrorist-supporter.

No, don't bother to go to Columbia's web page and search the events calendar. You won't find any mention of it. I checked. However, I am sure a wonderful time will be had by all.

And plenty of entertainment will be on hand too.

I hear they plan to show a travelogue film about Iran in case any of the kids want to take a summer vacation there.

Where you won't be bothered by those unsightly gays.

And where women know their place.

*Disclaimer: It's only a movie about an Iranian stoning.

Maybe they will show a documentary about how they held American diplomats hostage for a year and a half. They could even invite Jimmy Carter to give the keynote address as a sign of no hard feelings.

They can even ask Ahmadinejad if that's really him in that photo.

I wonder if Ahmadinejad's pal, Rabbi Ysroel Dovid Weiss will drop by to sing his praises. He's based right there in New York, you know.

The Left's ability to disregard contradictions is truly remarkable. They do not view or even consider the images of murdering of gays or stoning of women and the whole range of human rights abuses in the Arab/Muslim/Persian world. Yet they are quick to condemn America for every perceived misconduct.

You can, according to them, burn an American flag, Christian bible, or Jewish Torah but you have to wear latex gloves to handle the "holy" Koran. It is absurd.

You can, according to them, shout down an invited speaker at UCI but must be respectful of their (imposed) worship places, prayer times, separation of the sexes.

This is self imposed dhimmmitude.
