I am asking for lip readers to make out what Michelle Obama is saying to her husband, the President during this 9-11 flag-folding ceremony at Ground Zero. This video has also appeared on the Baltimore Sun's blog, as well as numerous other sites. Maybe one of my readers can help.
Could she be saying, "All this for that flag"?

Nothing would surpise me when it comes to the First Lady. Perhaps that is why she is seen but not often heard. Just a bit too much of a hater for the tastes of most?

Unworthy of you Cabbie. You obviously have a brain in your head, you have understandable fears about real hazards, but enough compassion to write that great article about watching the Muslim family at the park.
This lip-reading is both crass and dubious for many reasons. First, none of us could stand up to having our every lip movement filmed all day long, then played back frame by frame. Second, it is highly speculative. The most anyone could say reliably is that the first lady was saying something approximate to ah - i - o - a - ay.
Only someone desperate to find something to embarrass a person with would even indulge in this nonsense. Imagine what Gary would say if I pulled this on Nancy Reagan? I bet you could come up with a lot of incendiary possibilities from her lip movements.
Maybe she was saying, "Did you read fousesquawk today?" That would explain the disgusted looks on their faces.
I think you've got it Gary. That is the best answer anyone has come up with.

OK Nelly. I went to the Deaf web site, and got more than one reading. One talked about They don't know how to fold that flag (I doubt she is an expert) and another said "All this for that flag" or simething with same meaning. So the question was not resolved. (Unless you were referring to the John Lennon Imagine song. (LOL)
