He's holed up in a radio station somewhere, broadcasting that fleeing from his compound was a "tactical retreat." You'd know that if you read the New York Times.

He's counting on Findalis to restore him to power and tame those naughty NATO airplanes pronto. If she does, he promises to establish diplomatic relations with Israel and accept all the Palestinian refugees for resettlement in Libya. He has also vowed to liberate Al Quds from Zionist occupation, crush the terrorists of al Qaeda, and he's warned the socialist government of Greece that he will unleash the tribes on their exploitive banks if they don't resume buying oil. Oh, and he's buying a vacation home in Lockerbie.
Anything else you want to know? I think his next move will be to endorse whoever the Republican nominate to run against Obama.

Very funny Siarlys. If you knew anything about Libya you would know that Qadaffy is the leader of just 1 of the 50 tribes in that nation. There are 49 tribal leaders trying to take power, plus the Islamists who are being funded by Iran.
It is also a highly urbanized country, with a large number of citizens who want something better than the "tribal" scenario you have to offer.
Qadaffi has been announcing for months that "the tribes" are angry with the uprising and coming to his defense. That doesn't seem to have happened.
It is a fact that the uprising consists of a number of disparate military units with various levels of trainging and deeply divided loyalties. Making something out of the situation will be quite a chore. But it took thirteen fractious colonies several years after winning independence before they managed to agree on a constitution and form a functional nation. I bet Libya will be a bit quicker than that.
