Issssss it true that during the Muslim Student Union protest yesterday at UC-Irvine a university official told a member of the audience that there was no problem with Olive Tree Initiative students meeting with a Hamas official on the West Bank in 2009?
Issssss it true that during the above event a very high-ranking official of the Jewish Federation of Orange County slapped a Jewish UCI professor across the face with a rolled-up newspaper (or something similar) because the professor told him (the very high-ranking Jewish Federation of Orange County official) that he (the very high-ranking Jewish Federation of Orange County offical) had a credibility problem?
* Update-Breaking news! I have been informed by the above victim that that he was asked by a very high-ranking official of the OC Jewish Federation to inform me that he (the victim) doesn't really recall whether he was struck across the face or on the shoulder by the newpaper (or something similar)-wielding very high-ranking official of the OC Jewish Federation. I guess that's a legal sticking point.

I don't have a problem with UCI students meeting with a representative of Hamas.

Regarding the "high-ranking official of the Jewish Federation of Orange County" slapping a UCI professor: It appears what cannot be achieved in civil discourse, can be achieved through violence. It could be possible that the OTI trips have been helpful, in that Hamas techniques are now being used after meeting such a group in OTI trips to the region.

In this case it's not about "he said she said " it's about what he did ------ when the word credibility came up.
As far as credibility is concerned. One should be careful about yelling fire. This one cost the people of Irvine -- and they are not happy about that.
