Egypt: How's That Democracy Workin' Out For Ya?

Disturbing news is coming out of Egypt. Once again, Coptic Christians are under attack. The Assyrian International News Agency has a report.

Well, if there is a gang committing crimes against Coptic Christians, by all means let us dispense with any attempt at democracy immediately. For that matter, the first time Al Capone claimed rights under the 4th, 5th and 6th amendments to the United States constitution, we should have scrapped the document entirely, authorized the president to rule by decree, and required any executive orders from the White House to be counter-signed by J. Edgar Hoover.
