Immediately after praising President Obama for the tone of his speech, the pundits at MSNBC are doing what the President said we should not do; they are still pointing fingers of blame at their political opposition.
Especially Sarah Palin.
Tonight, Keith Olbermann is showing clips of Palin's Facebook video. He is calling it self-serving, defensive and ill-timed. Earlier, Lawrence O'Donnell and Chris Matthews dragged her over the coals for the statement.

I don't know about you, but I don't see anything wrong with it. She is being attacked savagely. She has a right to defend herself. Even so, the wording was not specifically about herself (except an oblique reference to the election map she produced). Should it have been released on the same day as the Tucson memorial? Perhaps not. Should she have used the term, "blood libel"? Perhaps not since some Jewish people think it is an inappropriate comparsion.
The "anchors" at MSNBC would do well to follow the urgings of the President. But they won't.

Oh, I thought you would object to Palin using the term "blood libel," which is an insult to survivors of the Churban Europa.
As I said on another of your post on the same subject, I see no need for long-winded rants to rub it in. Sarah Palin took the cross-hairs off her web site shortly after the Tucson shooting. It was the right thing to do. That speaks for itself. She sort of tarnished her own shine when she made the Facebook video.
