MSNBC's "Coverage" of the Journolist Story
Chris Hayes
Have you seen this man in the last 24 hours?
This is a public appeal to my readers to help me out here. I am asking for your help in identifying any coverage of the Journolist story by MSNBC since the story first broke. Last night, I checked out Keith Olbermann's Countdown, which was being hosted by Lawrence O'Donnell. Based on my flipping periodically back and forth, I am pretty sure he said zilch about that story last night. (What-do you think I can sit through 4 straight hours of Ed, Chris, Keith and Rachel? Yeah, right. I'm also into whips and chains.) Anyway, I would like to know if anyone of those four "commentators" talked about the story-or more importantly, did Chris Hayes of The Nation, who is a regular guest on those shows, make an appearance to talk about the story and his alleged role in trying to bury the Jeremiah Wright story during the 2008 elections?
Somebody help me.
Here's what I can say: The MSNBC web page this morning has nothing. O'Donnell last night said nothing. In fact the first 15 minutes of his show was devoted to the President's unemployment extension ceremony in which an unemployed guy was a guest of honor. Said unemployed guy was also O'Donnell's guest last night for an interview. Talk about filling in time. O'Donnell made every effort to keep the interview going-likely to use up air time which could have been devoted to you know what.
Bottom line question: Is MSNBC burying this story? As I said, I didn't see Chrissie, Ed and Rachel last night, so if they talked about the story or had Chris Hayes on, please let me know....
in the interest of fairness, you know.
