If Barack Obama hadn't been so concerned about finding an older white male running mate with a reputation for foreign policy expertise, we might have a better vice president today. Of course, if John McCain hadn't been so concerned with finding a younger white female running mate with a reputation as a more energetic maverick, we might have been spared the embarrassing spectacle of Sarah Palin pretending to speak for "the real people," whatever and whoever they might be. I thought I was one of the real people, until she started telling us how real people think.
Palin is not relevant to this thread because she is not being dragged out to make preposterous statements about the "Recovery" with bogus stats. Watch the video. Even Biden was embarrassed at what he was saying. He didn't want to be there.

Can you say "candidate for vice president of the United States" slowly enough to comprehend the meaning of the words?
