Olbermann Names Rabbi, "Worst Person in the World"

MSNBC "news analyst" Keith Olbermann has now gone after the rabbi who interviewed Helen Thomas when she made the remark about Israelis "getting the Hell out of Palestine". He has made Rabbi David Nesenoff his "Worst Person in the World".

First of all, I don't know anything about this Rabbi David Nesenoff. He may be a jerk for all I know, and I don't defend ethnic parodies. But how disingenuous for Keith Olbermann to blatantly misrepresent what Thomas said. She said nothing about settlements in the West Bank. She didn't say that Israelis should move from settlements on the West Bank back into Israel proper. She said the Israelis should get the Hell out of Palestine. What is Olbermann her personal spin doctor now?

I wonder if Olbermann is blasting this guy solely for a tasteless comedy routine mocking Hispanics or because of Thomas. Had Olbermann ever heard of this guy or his comedy weather routine before "l'affaire Thomas"? I rather doubt it.

Olbermann is being downright dishonest. I also wonder if he should not ask himself whether he is helping stoke an ugly reaction to Nesenoff, who reportedly has received thousands of threatening messages in the wake of this incident.
