Update on Attack in Canada

The Canadian press is picking up the story out of Gatineau (QU), where two Jewish students from nearby Carleton University were attacked by a gang of ten Arabic-speaking men and a machete was thrown at them. The Vancouver Sun reports that Gatineau police are investigating the incident. Carleton University has also been notified.

It should be noted that Carleton University has gained quite a reputation in Canada for Israel/Palestinian-related agitation. That is saying something since so many Canadian universities are having similar problems. If one or more of the attackers was, in fact, known to the victims, then we should see some quick results. If any of the attackers are Carleton students, it will be REALLY interesting to see what action (if any) the university takes.
