Remember Senator Max Baucus (D-MT), the guy who came up with his own version of the government health care plan? Well, it seems that the senator also had another plan in the works-to get his girlfriend nominated to be the US Attorney for Montana.

Maybe Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, would like to comment since she has spoken so often about the Republican "culture of corruption".

"Max is a good friend, an outstanding senator and he has my full support," Reid said in a statement released by his spokesman.
