Random Shots in the Dark (17)

Where the hell to start? What the hell, let's start in Africa, where Madame Hillary Clinton is flying around and pleading with all those African governments to end corruption. (Good luck with that.) Of course, everybody is buzzing about her outburst at a mis-translated question about Bill.

"What does Mr Clinton think?"

Later, the questioner apologized for the mis-communication, and Hillary said, "That's allright." How about Hillary apologizing for her rude and UNDIPLOMATIC reaction? Mis-translation or not, there was no excuse for her response. Fire her, President Obama. Actually that will never happen because, in the words of the ever-eloquent LBJ, Obama would rather have Hillary inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in.

(All you feminists save your cards and letters with the biological lessons. I know. I know.)

Town Halls. I note that the union goons and vote manufacturers from ACORN are starting to come out from under their rocks to show a few manners to the elderly and middle-aged protesters. Some of these thugs look like they are right out of Central Casting or a "Hungry Man" beef stew commercial.

"I don't think that's funny."

Speaking of health care, I had my physical last week and followed that up with two blood tests. So what is this chant, "Health Care Now" all about? We have health care dummies! To listen to these people you'd think we were all living in the Congo.

Nancy Pelosi has already earned her nomination for the Fousesquawk Jerk of the Year award for 2009, so I won't add her name again, but what is she doing (along with that empty suit, Steny Hoyer) calling all those anti-government health care folks "UnAmerican"? If they were turning out to do this in North Korea, would we call them "UnNorth Korean"?

But I tell ya; it's not safe to go out at night anymore because of those anti-Obama protesters, most of whom are between the age of 50-75. When I see these geezers coming at me, I cross the street. To hear the Democrats and the media describe it, it's "America Burning".

Cynthia Tucker, the good-looking editor at the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, who is a propagandist, says that 55-75% of the health care protesters are uncomfortable with a black president. And she's the editor of a major newspaper! Actually, why should I be surprised? Scratch that exclamation mark. Nomination for Jerk of the Year award? Nah. She's pretty, so I'll give her a pass. (Save those cards and letters, N.O.W.)

"I don't think that's funny."

When you watch those town hall meetings, do you get the impression that our elected leaders are not very smart people?

Next subject: Why is the left and the media so obsessed with that lady who was the losing VP candidate in the last election? I mean, you won, already. Enjoy it. It's like I'm thrilled my Steelers won the Super Bowl, but I haven't been going around all year saying, "those $^&**% Cardinals suck!!"

Which reminds me that Bill Maher thinks Americans are not very smart people because Sarah Palin has a following. On CNN last week, he told the hapless Wolf Blitzer that America is a dumb nation. Well, Bill should know dumbness when he sees it. After all, deep-thinker Bill spends much of his free time doing the boogie-woogie at the Playboy mansion with all those female brain surgeons that live there just in case Hef has a stroke.

Write down Bill Maher for Jerk of the Year nomination.

There's Hef now getting his daily full physical exam by his crack team of doctors, nurses, and medical "technicians". (I assume Maher is in the "Recovery Room".)

Now that I'm teaching a morning class, I get back home around 11 am, which means that if I turn on the TV, I have a choice of soap operas or CNN News, where I can watch that propagandist, Rick "Hit and Run" Sanchez (private joke) or Jack Cafferty, a skilled journalist indeed, who gets paid by the Collapsing News Network to roll up his shirtsleeves and read e-mails that say, "Bush and the Republicans suck!". Where do I sign up for that job?

"Here's another one, Wolf. Mary Jones in Bullsnuts, Nebraska says,'Bush and the Republicans suck.' I detect a definite trend."

Back in my home state of Kalifornia, we had a prison riot last week in Chino. Where is Chino, you ask?

You don't want to know.

Over 150 people were injured. The news media has been trying to find a way to describe what happened and why. Some say overcrowding, but closer to the truth, some outlets are reporting that black and Latino inmates "had an argument".

Indeed. Over government health care I presume.

"Health care now!!"
"Just say no!!"

Well it just goes to prove, we still live in a "racist country", don't we? Actually, I don't know why they are mad. After all, between our state legislature and the courts, about half of them are going to be released soon.

And while I am on the subject of prisoners (or those soon to be) ex-Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagoyevich, was shown on TV news last night singing at some event. Look for Blago to launch a new singing career if he is convicted in court for corruption. It's called "Singing to the Feds". I have a feeling, however, that our new Attorney General Eric Holder might not want to listen to Rod's music.

"I don't think that's funny."

I guess I've run out of things to say. Keep following those town hall meetings and the administration's responses to them. It's for sure they will keep shootin' themselves in the foot. And if anyone knows about shootin' himself in the foot, it's old Yosemite Sam.

"Now that's funny!"
