Meanwhile in Minnesota......

MSNBC is reporting that 45 new votes for Al Franken have turned up in the on-going Minnesota recount.

I know. I know. It's December in Minnesota, the sun is shining, and the guy is wearing a T-shirt. It's a Fousesquawk fraud. Save your cards and letters.

Last I read, he had a lot more than that.

Minnesota is giving the election to Franklin. They are counting votes for his opponent as a vote for Franklin.

Benjamin Franklin?

Can I really be expected to take somebody's opinion seriously when they don't even know the candidate's name?

Sorry but couldn't remember Coleman's name.

I have looked at some of the disputed votes as well. On more than one occasion, the vote was counted for Franken even though the oval for Coleman was clearly marked.

Nearly every single 'found' vote has gone to Franken, though that is no surprise because the counties in which they were found were overwhelmingly democrat.

I have said before that losing an election sucks, but can be dealt with if it was fair. I really do not see HOW this could be construed as fair by any one on either side of the election. It's a total fix for the Democrats.

I should not have expected any less, though. If the top person in the party cannot release all of HIS records (personal or in relating to his campaign) when asked, why should I expect any sort of fairness or openness for this seat?
