France: Jihadist Stabs Cop and Shoots Two Others in Nantes

Gunman reported dead

Today in the area of Nantes, France, a radicalized jihadist, reportedly released from prison months earlier, stabbed a policewoman, stole her service weapon, and wounded two other cops in an exchange of gunfire in which he was killed (There are conflicting reports on this last point, but it appears the most recent is that he was killed.) The suspect is identified as Ndiaga Dieye, who was known to police as a radicalized Muslim (born in France). The three officers are reportedly out of danger.
