Angela Merkel, the (finally) out-going chancellor, has announced that the friendly folks of the Taliban will be receiving 600 million euros in German tax money as humanitarian aid. What is the difference between needy flood victims in Ahrtal and the radical-Islamist terrorists in Afghanistan? The people in Germany have been robbed of their entire existence, not the least by the failure of politics; they can, perhaps-beginning in October-fill out online forms to apply for state subsidies, which will then, after a review, be paid out sometime. The Merkel government has immediately transferred 600 million euros to the Taliban terrorists without any bureaucracy or evidence. So much for the priorities of this federal government.

It should not be left unmentioned here that the federal government called on the population to financially support the victims of the flood catastrophe. The citizens with some of the world's highest taxes and fees should also pay for the failures of politics with additional compensation payments. In the aftermath of the flood catastrophe, it became known that the federal government was responsible for large gaps in disaster control. Over 1,300 special vehicles were lacking, which the federal government was required by law to provide to the states in disaster control. Special vehicles for protection from and for the elimination of biological, radiological, and nuclear dangers are short about 30%. The former chief of Technical Relief (THW), Albrecht Broemme, was quoted in (Der) Spiegel with the following words on disaster control in Germany: "The whole world is laughing (at us)". 

Taliban: Murderers of German (soldiers) receive German tax money 

Until the takeover of the Taliban, politics and the mainstream media were of the same assessment of the fully-bearded radical-Islamists: A brutal, Middle Ages terror organization that oppresses girls and women, including forced marriages, rape, and stoning. Homosexuals are not only verbally persecuted, but sometimes end up on the gallows, and Islamic Sharia stands above any law or human rights.

The Taliban were mainly described as a brutal terror organization, who with bombs and suicide attackers, blew up and mutilated thousands of Western soldiers. Afghans who were accused of being collaborators of the West were shot on the spot without any court process. In addition, the Taliban are close allies of other Islamist terrorist organizations, like Al Qaeda, who murder worldwide in the name of Islam as well as persecute and terrorize Western citizens as "unbelievers". 

Has anything changed in any of these points since the Taliban took Kabul in a coup and inflicted a humiliating military defeat on the West?

No, it has not. The blood of countless victims of their reign of terror, including the blood of dozens of murdered German soldiers, still clings to the hands of the Taliban and their close allies from Al-Qaeda.

What are the survivors and traumatized Afghanistan-veterans supposed to feel when the Chancellor of the Federal Republic stands in front of the microphones of the capital city (Berlin) press and announces talks now with the Taliban? These blood-thirsty Middle Age monsters have now, from one day to the next, been upgraded by Mrs. Merkel to equal negotiating partners?

And the political disclosure oath of this government has not yet reached rock bottom. In a functioning democracy and independent justice (system), the next issue should not only unleash an outcry in the society, but also have legal consequences for Angela Merkel and Heiko Maas. Because the amount of 100 million euros of German tax money, which  Mrs. Merkel transferred to Afghanistan through the detour of UN organizations, was only a short time later increased by half a billion euros. Now it is an open secret that the Taliban terrorists are being paid a princely (sum) for every coup or for every "concession", such as the Kabul evacuation. Whatever one wants to call this flow of money, "Taliban tax", "humanitarian aid", protection money, or blackmail payments, in the end, a large part of it will go directly to the Taliban.

This is also to be regarded legally as tricky. Because in the legal code, section 129a, "Formation of a terrorist organization," in paragraph 5, just the support of a terrorist organization alone is punishable with a prison sentence of up to 10 years.  

And in the following section 129b StGB, "Criminal and terrorist organizations abroad," the liability from section 129 a is also confirmed in Germany, especially if the acts and facts relate to Germany. 59 German army soldiers died in the war against the Taliban terrorists. That these murderers are now receiving 600 million euros of tax money is a scandal. That the millions-transfers are labeled as humanitarian aid does not change the situation.

9-11 20 Years Later

 

Today marks an especially painful anniversary of the 9-11 attacks that took place 20 years ago.  Afghanistan, the country from which 9-11 was launched, is now back in the hands of the Taliban, the same barbarians who protected Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. No doubt they are marking the day in some manner to humiliate the US and our feckless administration, led by Joe Biden and his equally feckless spokesholes like Jen Psaki at the White House and Ned Price at the State Department.

Since 9-11, Islamic terrorism has continued notwithstanding our stop and go war on terror. Our leaders, to say nothing of the European leaders, can not bring themselves to say publicly what most people know- that we were attacked on 9-11 by Islam. Since that dark day 20 years ago, that same Islam has carried out over 20,000 terrorist attacks around the world. After a stabbing spree carried out just days ago by a jihadist in New Zealand, that country's feckless prime minister fretted that the principal victims would be Muslims. She was right to condemn the murderous attack at two mosques a few years ago that killed dozens of innocent Muslims in Christchurch, but her more recent statements showed a callous disregard for the latest victims.

Today's commemorations in the US seem to be taking on a more somber tone than in recent years. Is there something magical about the number 20 or just that it is an evenly-rounded number? If so, I don't get it, but if it will wake some people up from their slumber-especially our younger folks, who barely remember the event or not at all- that is something in itself.

But then there is the Anti-Defamation League's liberal chief, Jonathan Greenblatt, who just days ago marked the anniversary by offering a public apology for the fact that his organization had once opposed the proposed construction of the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque", which would have been built in the shadows of Ground Zero. 

If you are a new reader to this site, do not get the wrong impression. My opposition to the ADL is grounded in their refusal to get involved in fighting anti-Semitism at the University of California at Irvine, where I taught from 1998-2016, and where I have been heavily involved in confronting anti-Semitism on that campus-with zero help from the ADL, which rarely is willing to talk about anti-Semitism when it comes from Muslims. Their outrage is generally reserved for Jew-hating white supremacists. I, on the other hand, prefer to condemn all forms of anti-Semitism.

Nor should the reader infer that I hold all Muslims on the planet for 9-11, terrorism, or anti-Semitism. I do not even though I believe anti-Semitism and violence are deeply rooted in Islamic teaching.

I get the fact that Greenblatt is a man of the left. (He was not the head of the ADL in 2010 when they opposed the Ground Zero mosque project.) But this is not a time when we need to be apologizing to anybody.

France: Terror Trial Opens

Today in Paris, the terrorist trial of Salah Abdeslam and several others opened. Abdeslam, in true terrorist fashion, told the court that, "there is no divinity but Allah, and Mohamed is his messenger". He also identified himself as a fighter for the Islamic State.

Abdeslam is the lone surviving member of the terrorists who launched attacks in Paris and St-Denis on November 13, 2015 in which 130 people were slaughtered.

Salah Abdeslam, only member still living among the commandos of the November 13, 2015 attacks in Paris and Saint-Denis, presents himself Wednesday as "a fighter of the Islamic State" at the opening of the trial where he is being judged alongside 19 other alleged jihadists.

The principal defendant of the November 13 attacks trial, Salah Abdeslam, declared Wednesday in his first words to the court that, "There is no divinity but Allah," when he was asked to state his identity at the opening of the session. "First of all, I want to state that there is no divinity but Allah and that Mohamed is his messenger," stated the only living member of the commandos who caused 130 deaths in Paris. Then asked about his profession, he answered, "I abandoned all profession(s) to become a fighter of the Islamic State."

The main defendant of the "historic" November 13 2015 attacks trial, which opened this Wednesday in mid-day, Salah Abdeslam stands in the dock, surrounded by several gendarmes. Black beard protruding from his mask of the same color, dark, shoulder-length hair combed back, black t-shirt, he talked for a moment with his attorneys, Olivia Ronen and Martin Vettes, before sitting down and then briefly speaking. 

"The accused are treated like dogs"

Later during the session, Salah Abdeslam claimed that the accused were, "treated like dogs".

Twenty accused

Ten other accused are present in the dock. Three others, who remain free, are seated outside the dock in chairs. In the large room with 550 seats, are seated mostly black-robed lawyers, a few dozen civil parties, and journalists. In the morning, under the eye of cameras, an ultra-security convoy had left the Fluery-Merogis Prison, where the only surviving member of the jihadist commandos of November 13, 2015, Salah Abdeslam, has been incarcerated for more than 5 years in total isolation. On the banks of the Seine, the approaches to the old Palace of Justice had been blocked since dawn by a large security perimeter.

Filmed for (posterity), this trial will take place over 9 months, a duration without precedent for a criminal trial in France. "This will be, without doubt, the longest in history," Christian Saint-Palais, lawyer for one of the accused,  told AFP (Agence France Presse). It is also unprecedented in the scope of the file(s)-542 volumes- by the number of civil parties-at least 1,800-and by its emotional weight. Some 550 people will be seated in the (court)room specially constructed within the courthouse.

France's 9-11 (November 13) Trial Opens Wednesday

On Wednesday, September 8, the trial against the surviving terrorist and co-conspirators of the November 13, 2015 Bataclan terrorist attack that killed 130 people will begin in Paris. Only one of the actual commandos, Salah Abdeslam, survived and is a defendant. The trial is expected to last until May 2022. Let us hope that justice will prevail for the French people.

The November 13 attacks: The undersides of an extraordinary trial

Historic and unprecedented in its size, the trial of the November 13 attacks required more than two years of preparation in order to set up a titanic and highly secure judicial system. Over the course of 9 months, more than 300 witnesses will be heard by the Special Criminal Court of Paris, which will be charged with judging 20 accused, including Salah Abdeslam.

It is the largest criminal hearing ever held in France. In a few days, the trial of the terrorist attacks that produced 130 deaths and 350 injured in Paris and Saint-Denis will begin in the capital.

Beginning September 8 and lasting 9 months, the Special Criminal Court of Paris will be charged with judging 20 accused, including Salah Abdeslam, the lone survivor among the commandos tasked by the organization, Islamic State, in committing terrorist attacks in France. Facing trial, 14 accused will be present, and 6 will be judged in absentia.

A titanic judicial setup was planned because this trial is extraordinary, first of all, because of the elevated number of civil parties: Almost 1,800 people of some 20 different nationalities. Some 300 witnesses will be heard, essentially, next of kin of the victims and some survivors of the attacks, represented by almost as many lawyers.

This trial is also unprecedented in its emotional weight and its length: At least 145 days of hearings are scheduled until May 25, 2022. Holding a trial of this magnitude till its end constitutes a challenge without precedent for the judicial institution, particularly in a time of pandemic and a still-elevated terrorist threat.

A custom-built courtroom

From a logistical point of view, the judicial setup required two years of preparation and the construction of a special, highly-secured courtroom in the heart of the historic Palace of Justice at the l’île de la Cité in Paris.

This principal courtroom will be able to accommodate up to 550 people. An ultra-modern room, without any windows, custom built in the middle of the famous Salle des Pas Perdus, and eventually removable. About 15 other rooms of the Appellate Court will be able to be utilized to broadcast the arguments according to the number of people, for a total capacity of 2,000 seats. 

A web radio for the civil parties and psychological assistance

From the main room, 8 cameras, technically controlled, will film the entirety of the trial. But no image is supposed to leave the special criminal court because these recordings will be destined exclusively to the audio-visual archives of the (court).

Among the thousands of persons constituting civil parties, those who don't attend the sessions will be able to follow them on a web (internet) radio. This is the first time that a  device of this type will be put in place for a criminal trial. Only the sound will be broadcast, in a slight delay of a half-hour, under ultra-secure conditions. A number for psychological assistance will be placed at the disposition of the listeners.

On the security side, the terrorist threat being persistent, the number of gendarmes and police has not been disclosed, but a considerable security perimeter will be in place, forcing the residents of the quarter and trial participants to (undergo) identity checks.

A million-page investigative file

The first witnesses are expected to take the stand beginning Monday, 13 September. But before that, the president of the court will read his report, summarizing the 542 volumes of the investigative file. (That is) a (file) of a million pages, equivalent to 53 linear meters.

These historical trials filmed for the archives of justice

The victims will take the stand for five weeks, from the end of September to the end of October, telling about this night of horror in 2015. The court will interrogate the fourteen accused beginning in 2022.

 Twelve of the twenty accused are facing life imprisonment. Three accused, against whom, the charges are less serious, are free under judicial supervision.

If the court keeps to its deadlines, the verdict could be rendered in May 2022.

Family Feud in Sweden-But Who Are the Families?

The answer to that question is apparently a Swedish state secret since nobody will say who the people were, 50-60 people, all dressed in black, who engaged in several gang fights in the southern Swedish city of Lund today. The brawls are all over the Swedish media, but the big question is-Who are they? The police won't say, nor will the mainstream media outlets. After much searching, we had to go to the conservative Swedish outlet, Samnytt, who is able to tell us that it involves two immigrant clans. The below article also has video (without sound). Domestic: 6 September 2021, 15:13

On Monday morning, several fights broke out between two immigrant families in central Lund. According to witness reports, there were reportedly about 60 people beaten, including with weapons at the train station and hospital. Samnytt can show two video clips from the fights.

It was 10:12 when police received the first alarm of fights in the city. When police arrived at the scene, the gangs had left, but an injured person was found.

At 10:52, police got an alarm about another fight in a restaurant located at the train station. According to witness reports from the scene, four or five cars reportedly stopped suddenly outside the restaurant. Then a large number of men rushed into the restaurant and began to fight. 

The witness told Kvällsposten that the men were "extremely excited and terribly aggressive". They reportedly also threw outdoor restaurant furniture and a street sign at the restaurant.

Police confirm clan fight

Later, a fight between 50-60 people broke out outside the hospital in Lund. A total of 4 people were taken to the hospital with injuries. Because of the fight outside the hospital, ambulances were diverted from Lund to Malmö.

According to police, it was a fight between "two groups". But authorities don't want to say which groups were involved or the cause of the conflict. Later on Monday, police confirmed that it was a conflict between two families. One of the families is found in the police's clan report.

Germany: Afghan Man Kills Female Gardener Because She Was Working

As German Chancellor Angela Merkel frets about opening dialogue with the Taliban and how many more Afghan refugees Germany can absorb, the Afghan crime spree goes on in her country. On Saturday, an Afghan man in Berlin was arrested and charged with stabbing a German woman in the neck. He was apparently angered because he saw the woman working as a landscape gardener. That apparently offended his religious sensibilities. 

According to the Berlin Morgenpost, the woman is in critical condition. A man who came to her aid was also stabbed in the neck, but he is improving.

According to the Austrian newspaper, Blick, the woman has died of her injuries.

The Afghan, who seriously injured the woman may be mentally confused. The authorities are also examining a possible Islamist motive.

Berlin. After a knife attack on a Landscape gardener, police are investigating a 29-year-old man who was apparently Islamist motivated as well as mentally confused. The Afghan citizen reportedly first spoke with the 59-year-old woman on Saturday around 13:30 near a green area at the corner of Prinzregenten and Guentzel Streets in Wilmersdorf. According to the police, he was apparently upset that the woman was doing paid work.

Then he reportedly stabbed the woman several times in the neck, and she was critically injured. A 66-year-old man who hurried to her aid was also reportedly seriously injured by several stab wounds to the neck. Both victims were operated on in hospitals. 

Police arrested the Afghan right at the scene of the crime

The suspected Afghan was arrested by police at the scene. The State Prosecutor is investigating (him) for attempted murder and serious bodily harm. An investigating judge issued an arrest warrant against the man on Sunday. The man is in investigative custody for attempted murder and serious bodily injury, as well as the attack on the (samaritan) for serious bodily injury, as stated.

The police first reported that a psychiatric illness may have played a role in the crime. The spokesman for the State Prosecutor, Martin Steltnert, said that these indications were not so confirmed so as to justify taking him to a psychiatric facility.

According to police, the investigations are being carried out, "also from the perspective of a possible Islamist-motivated attack". "The man reportedly made statements during the commission of the crime that suggest an Islamist attitude," said the State Prosecutor spokesman, Steltner.  As to what statements (were made), Steltner did not wish to say in reference to the on-going investigation. 

Parallels to the attack on the city autobahn

Investigators report the attack on the landscape gardener may have parallels to the attack on the city autobahn on 18 August 2020. The crime is attributed to the 30-year-old Iraqi citizen,  Sarmad A, who is currently standing trial. With his Opal Astra, he reportedly "hunted motorcycles" and also rammed several cars. 

The State Prosecutor attested that A. carried out the attack "for delusional religious and Islamist motives". In investigative circles, they say that in the attack on the landscape gardener, a similar combination of psychiatric illness and Islamist attitude many have been decisive. The two causes are not mutually exclusive; the combination rather may have been decisive for a decision to act.

The condition of the landscape gardener after the attack is said to still be critical, said Steltner. In the meantime, the man who rushed to her aid, on the other hand, is now better.

One Fine Evening in Madrid

Last week in Madrid, a young girl and two male friends were viciously attacked by a gang of young men described as Moroccans or Maghrebians (North Africans). The girl, who suffered the worst beating, lost several teeth after resisting the robbery attempt. Several young men are in custody.

A mob knocks the teeth out of a young girl during a savage robbery in Sol

The National Police have detained 4 of the attackers, Moroccan kids, after receiving information from a  Metro guard who was passing through the area.

The center of Madrid was the scene of a very violent robbery at dawn, in which the principal victim was a young girl. A mob, of about 10 young Maghrebians (North Africans) attacked her and a couple of friends with whom she was transiting through Sol in order to rob her. The beating they gave her was such that the girl lost several teeth and was left bloodied on the street. Police sources indicated that 4 of the delinquents were detained, all of adult age, though witnesses indicated that there were other minors who are being investigated (to determine) if they were minors.

The incident occurred before 3:30 of the night of 28 August, last Saturday. The victims were returning through Sol after spending a fun evening when the thieves confronted them. It was a full-blown robbery. The girl resisted, and they robbed a watch and a cell phone. They succeeded after giving them a monumental beating. A Metro guard, who was getting off work and passing down Arenal Street, saw several Maghrebians, between 16-27 years of age, running toward him in the direction of the opera, he calculated. When they saw, they went down Las Hilares Street: The muscular build of the guard, whom they probably recognized from their adventures in the suburb, led them to change course.

Further on, the man saw two boys, friends of the principal victim, shouting, "Police, police!" One of them showed a gap above an eyebrow, which was broken.

At the location of numbers 24-26 of Arenal (Street), he saw a girl, on the ground, at a doorway. She was bleeding profusely from the blows,.They had knocked out at least two lower teeth and others from the top of her mouth.  Medical personnel of Samur quickly arrived and transported her to Gomez Ulla Hospital. "The poor girl remained (there) so they could do plastic surgery," stated case sources.

The guard called 091 and alerted the National Police that there were several attackers crouched among the trees of the Sabatini Gardens.

Police sources indicated that the 4 arrestees had fled toward the Puerta del Sol, where a police patrol that had been looking for them (based on) the description given by the victims, intercepted them: One dressed in a red Chicago Bulls t-shirt, and another with marks on the sides, Those attacked explained that they "had been attacked like hyenas".

Fousesquawk comment: Of course, while all this is going on on Spanish streets, the Spanish border with Morocco is under constant assault by young Moroccan men and those of other nationalities. Spanish border police are often injured trying to stop them. Moroccan border guards have often been observed turning a blind eye, and the Moroccan government is a big part of the problem. In addition, the current Spanish government of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez doesn't seem interested in stopping the migration. The inevitable result is that the Spanish people are subjected to these kinds of attacks in cities like Madrid.

This is just another example of how Western leaders are screwing their own populations and destroying their societies.

Netherlands: Afghan Refugees Vacationing in Afghanistan

Dutch politician, Geert Wilders is his country's leading opponent of Muslim immigration into the Netherlands. For his opposition, he lives under armed guard at a secret location because the jihadists have put a price on his head. In addition, there have been multiple prosecutions against him for so-called "hate speech".

Geert Wilders thinks it is completely ridiculous that so-called refugees from Afghanistan apparently enjoy having vacations in that country, while they had a residence permit in the Netherlands because their lives were not safe there (Afghanistan). So-called because that was, apparently, pure nonsense.

Status holders

According to the media, "by far, most of the evacuees out of Afghanistan" are Dutch and status holders. "From the group brought back, 708 have a Dutch passport or a refugee passport. It is Afghans with their family members, who once came to the Netherlands for asylum, who are recognized as refugees and are naturalized Dutch."

Status holders are "refugees" whose applications have been approved but not yet naturalized. And yes, it is a bit strange that the people were in Afghanistan. Because status holders can travel with their "refugee passport", but they cannot do that to go to their land of origin. Not so crazy, naturally, because they claim to have fled that country. If they then go there on vacation anyway, you know that was nonsense.

Geert Wilders

Geert Wilders is furious that the co-called refugees secretly enjoyed a vacation in Afghanistan.  And that they did that, by the way, when the criminal Taliban had 70% of the country in their hands, and even a blind person could see that it wouldn't be long before they would subdue the entire country.

Those are hard words, but they are true, of course. Because it is this type of people who are not allowed to go to such a  country. They lie about that, and also over the need to come to the West as refugees.

"Let them stay in Afghanistan, do not risk the life of one Dutch soldier or anyone else to save these swindlers," concludes Wilders about the fake refugees. Because it is his reasoning that they have shown that they are wrongfully labeled as status-holders. And so let them sort it out. Since it was all just a big lie, they can try to rebuild their lives in Afghanistan.

The chance that the cabinet will do this is, of course, nil. Because (Foreign Minister) Sigrid Kaag and (Prime Minister) Mark Rutte do not care about the lot of real Dutch people, fake refugees can always count on their support.

When it comes to anti-Semitism, Washington DC imam,  Abdul Alim Musa, aka Clarence Reams. takes a backseat to very few. He is one of the useful idiots (which I have called him to his face) who traffics in hate-especially when it comes to Jews. He is a friend of the ayatollahs in Iran and often makes speeches against the Jewish state of Israel. Musa is a convicted drug trafficker and former fugitive who converted to Islam and changed his name while in federal prison.

The below article by Elder of Zion reports on one of Musa's recent sermons (August 2021) where he rails at Zionists. It also has a video clip of Musa's sermon. In this sermon, he blames the Zionists for the Kabul airport attack as well as 9-11. This mope makes Joe Biden look eloquent. It is almost humorous if it were not so dangerous

 In 2006, this mope came to speak at UC Irvine, where I was teaching. He had been invited by the Muslim Student Union at UCI. By chance, I caught the tail-end of his speech, which was being held outdoors. He told the audience that Islam was going to take it all, but you Christians and Jews don't have to worry, we will protect you. At the end, I called him an idiot, and we shouted at each other for a few moments.  Things haven't changed much since then.

Sweden: Somali Immigrant (Naturalized Swedish Citizen) Wants to Kill all Swedes

And so it is in Sweden, where new immigrants become Swedish citizens and commit themselves to respect and upheld Swedish values and........Oh wait! What's this?

Attacked women and made threats: "Whites shall die"

The Somali who subjected at least 8 women to insane attacks is now charged in the District Court of  Borås for assault and also for having threatened female social workers.

One who read the preliminary investigation against the Somali perpetrator is journalist Joakim Lamotte. He describes it as frightening reading.

The defendant, Dawud Mohammad, without provocation, made outbursts and violent attacks against women. Men who tried to help the women were also attacked. In addition, he issued serious insults and death threats.

According to a police report, Dawud Mohammad screamed, "f---ing racists" during the arrest and that "white people are evil and racist". He also said, according to police, that "white people shall die," and that he "would f--- white people".

"Kill all Swedes"

Social secretaries in Borås also stand witness to the man's hate toward white Swedes. In an interview, a social secretary said that Dawud Mohammad, at a meeting, screamed, "You are Swedish. You should get out of here." The social secretary dared do nothing else but leave the room. Then Dawud Mohammad looked at her and screamed, "I will kill you. I will kill all Swedes."

Another social secretary stated that she was threatened via email, when Dawud Mohammad reportedly  wrote things like, "I will destroy your life," and " I will kill you all."

Dawud Mohammad himself denies the crime, and in a police interrogation, he says that, "It is all about racism", and that police "want to fill up my file". He has also refused to speak with a police investigator because he was white.

Unpleasant human view

Lamotte writes that the preliminary investigation is unpleasant to read. 

"Not just for the violence that several people testify to, but also for the threats directed to people on grounds of their skin color. At the same time, I recall that a Swedish TV employee this week reprimanded a viewer by explaining that whites cannot be affected by racism." 

"I wonder what this is if not racism?"

This Dawud Mohammad became a Swedish citizen in 2015. Since then he has been convicted for among others, narcotics crimes, threats against officials, and illegal driving.

And now he stands charged for several cases of abuse against women and threats of an openly racist nature.

Fousesquawk comment: As one who is married to a naturalized Mexican woman who came to this country legally with her family as a teenager and who considers herself first and foremost as an American, it is not only sad but outrageous to see how some-not all- immigrants have no love or respect for their adopted countries. They are coming to the West as freeloaders and only want that US or European passport because they view it as an advantage. I would submit that there are too many Dawud Mohammads in Sweden. Here you have a man who came from an African hellhole (Somalia) and was welcomed by Sweden and given citizenship. Instead of being grateful, he wants to commit crimes and kill all white Swedes. And given the Swedish deportation policy, I doubt that this man, after serving just a few years in jail, will be deported.

Joe Biden's "Extraordinary Success"

Every time Joe Biden steps in front of a camera, it just gets more pathetic. This week's episode, where he announced the final withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, was classic Joe Biden. In the face of this unmitigated disaster, Biden actually bragged about the withdrawal, calling it an "extraordinary success"! He rattled off the numbers of people evacuated. He defended his actions and pointed the finger of blame at Trump. This was classic Biden. It's what he has done for 50 years in Washington. This man has never admitted he was wrong about anything. No, Joe Biden is always the smartest guy in the room. In reality, he has spent five decades being wrong about everything. In truth, he is an empty-suit blowhard.

If you want to characterize the performance of our troops at Kabul airport along with the State Department people on the ground in getting 120,000 people onto planes and out of Afghanistan as extraordinary, that part I will agree with. They did a phenomenal job, especially given the circumstances they were given to work with by their leaders in Washington- at the White House and the Pentagon.

What was not an extraordinary success was how our leaders brought this evacuation about. The scenes of tens of thousands of desperate people outside the gates of the airport trying to pass through Taliban roadblocks was not an extraordinary success. Having 13 US troops and almost 200 Afghan civilians killed by a suicide bomber is not an extraordinary success. People falling to their deaths from the wheel wells of departing planes was not an extraordinary success. Leaving our allies in the lurch and unprepared to evacuate their own personnel and Afghan allies was not an extraordinary success. Leaving American citizens behind in order to adhere to the August 31 deadline was not an extraordinary success. Leaving behind some 80 billion dollars in military vehicles, weapons and other equipment is not an extraordinary success.

I do not blame the troops on the ground and the diplomats who stayed to the last for the above. All this would have been avoided had our leaders properly planned and organized this withdrawal. They put those on the ground at Kabul in an impossible situation, and the latter performed heroically under the circumstances.

But there was Biden defending his actions while avoiding the main point. Very few Americans are outraged because he decided (as did Trump) that it was time to end our fighting in Afghanistan and let the Afghans defend their own country. Yes, once we took care of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and once Usama bin Laden was dead, we should have gotten out. Establishing a Jeffersonian democracy in Afghanistan should never have been a consideration. Yes, it would be great if Afghan women and girls had equal rights and go to school, etc (let alone not be executed in soccer stadiums), but it is not for American soldiers to die to bring that about. Sorry, it just isn't.

No, Mr Biden; it's not that you ended our military involvement in Afghanistan. It is the bungling, incompetent manner that you and your top advisors and military leaders (Secretary of Defense Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Milley)  organized the withdrawal.

In the coming days and weeks, we will hear about one Taliban atrocity after another, likely some committed against American citizens left behind. That will not help Biden's standing. In addition-and I want to say this carefully- we don't know as yet just who these 100,000+ Afghans who were evacuated are. We are told they are interpreters, embassy workers, those who worked with our forces, and Afghans with dual citizenship. If so, I have no issue with that. We have a moral duty to save all of those people.

But how many will turn out to be people who don't fall into those categories? There are already reports coming out that the US and European countries are discovering people who got out who are Taliban members (France) or those on terror watch lists. Countries like Sweden, Germany, and Austria are dealing with a massive crime problem with young Afghan men who have arrived unaccompanied in the past few years. Aside from the Afghans in the categories I mentioned, we need to be very cautious before we open the floodgates to massive Afghan immigration. There is no valid reason why neighboring countries or other Muslim countries should not accept these people. Let them all live happily under Sharia law.

As for Biden, in just 8 months, he has surpassed any and all previous presidents who history has regarded as failed presidents. That is an extraordinary achievement. But it is not an extraordinary success.
