One Plus One = Two

Hat tip Creeping Sharia

Under the Obama administration, our Department of Homeland Security has been turned into little more than a tool to admit more and more questionable people into this country. That includes a massive increase in Muslims coming from countries high on the terror watch list. It seems the threat of more terror attacks (e.g. Boston Marathon) is lost on our current leaders.

It is not lost on writer Paul Sperry, however. The below two articles are both from Creeping Sharia.

https://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2015/04/03/huge-surge-of-unscreened-muslims-flooding-u-s-under-obama/

So the above makes one; the below makes two. The actual terror attacks and/or plots.

https://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2015/04/03/new-york-2-muslim-women-charged-with-conspiracy-to-kill-americans/

It may well be that one or both of the latest persons charged are American-born converts. No matter. They have received their inspiration from the cancer that we are importing into this country with no regard whatsoever for possible future attacks. In my view, the FBI is doing yeoman work in stopping many attacks that would have taken place using informants and undercover agents. Meanwhile, so-called mainstream Muslim organizations like CAIR, MPAC, MAS et al condemn the investigative methods being used as "entrapment" or "unlawful intrusion into the community or mosque" (NYPD).

These organizations have influence with the Obama administration although they have been identified as part of the Muslim Brotherhood. But then again, the MB itself has influence with the Obama administration.

It seems like such a simple equation, common sense no less. Yet, our leaders seem incapable or unwilling to add it up.

Angela Davis Gets $16,000 to Spout Leftist Nonsense at UMass

"Someday, somebody's going to pay me for all this."

So what do you get when you pay $16,000 to a professor in the History of Consciousness Department at UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) to come and speak at your own university? A bunch of radical leftist bull, that's what. That's what UMass at Amhearst got when Angela Davis came to speak. Among Davis' suggestions for a better society? An end to incarceration.

"She didn't learn that from me."

The university reportedly paid $16,000 for Davis to deliver a speech titled “Sustaining Social Justice Movements and Intersectional Struggles.”
University officials justified the speaking fee by saying her appearance "reflects the university's commitment to exploring a range of ideas, perspectives and concepts."

Cornell Campus Paper Defends Dean Joe Scaffido

http://cornellsun.com/blog/2015/03/25/editorial-dismissing-absurd-journalism/

The Cornell Sun, Cornell's campus newspaper, has come to the defense of Joe Scaffido, an asst dean, who was caught on tape mouthing supportive platitudes to a Project Veritas undercover reporter who asked about setting up a student club to support the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (aka ISIS).

To which I say, "Nonsense". If this guy is so obtuse that he could only give supportive answers instead of throwing the reporter out of his office, he has no business being in his current position.

The Godmother (Part 15)

The Godmother

Davide Kendeloni was a big-time lawyer who defended mob bosses, crooked politicians and other assorted lowlifes. One hot summer evening he was sitting in his living room watching TV. It was a typical hot summer night in the mean streets of New York. (Chappaqua, NY, that is.)

Suddenly, Davide heard sirens coming down the street. Almost at the same time, he heard a rapping on his living room window. A blonde haired woman was banging on the window frantically. Davide opened the window and saw that it was the Godmother. As soon as the window was opened, a black bag came flying in the room.

"Hold on to this until I get back to you," said the Godmother as she ran back to the house next door.

Moments later, cars pulled up to the house next door and a dozen men in raid jackets and guns drawn ran to the door and demanded entry. The next thing Davide saw was the door being kicked in. He could read the inscriptions on the back of their raid jackets.

ARB.

That could mean only one thing: The Accountability Review Board.

Davide knew that his next door neighbor was the Godmother, but he had never met her. Now this. And what was inside that black bag? Did he dare look? After mulling it over, he opened the bag. It was full of cell phones and hard drives. But what could  those have to do with crime?

Davide didn't want to think about it anymore. Putting the bag in a closet, he went to bed not even bothering to see what would transpire at the house next door.

He had almost forgotten about the bag as he was walking to the train station a few days later. Suddenly, he felt a tug on his arm from behind. Looking around, he saw that it was the Godmother herself.

"You still got that bag I gave you?"

"Yes," Davide answered nervously. "Do you want it back?"

"No, here's what I want ya to do. Get rid of it."

"OK,"answered Davide.

"Did you look inside the bag?"

"Yes."

They walked a few more steps, and the Godmother continued, "Here's the deal. If anybody asks about it, I want you to tell them you listened to the messages and read everything on the hard-drives. I run a pizza delivery business, see? All that's on there is pizza orders. Got it?"

"OK. I got it."

"Oh yeah. There may be a couple of yoga appointments on there too," added the Godmother.

"Yes, Godmother."

"So you know who I am."

"Everybody in the neighborhood knows who you are," said Davide.

The Godmother stopped and turned to Davide.

"Hey, I wanna show my appreciation. You need a rug?"

"Uh, no thank you. I have plenty of rugs."

"What kind of work do you do?"

"I'm a lawyer," answered Davide.

At that, the Godmother got a big bug-eyed look in her eyes, and she broke out in a big smile.

"That's great. I always need new lawyers. Tell you what. Gimme a call in a couple of years.
I'm going places, and I might have a job for you." The Godmother turned and started walking back in the direction of her house.

"Uh, excuse me," Davide called out.

"What happened with those guys from the ARB the other night?"

The Godmother laughed. "I fired them."

Kenya: The Latest Islamic Horror

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/04/02/garissa-attack-kenya/

So now we are treated to the latest Islamic horror. Al Shabaab, the Somali Islamic terror group, has again struck in Kenya. A college is attacked, and Muslims and Christians are separated with the Christians shot dead. At this point, at least 147 are believed dead.

Let the excuses begin.

No doubt, CAIR will issue a condemnation of the attack, and that will be the last they will say about it. US Muslim spokesmen will declare that it has nothing at all to do with Islam. Anyone who says different will be called an Islamophobe. Anyone who reminds the world that a genocide is on-going against Christians not fortunate enough to live in the West will be called a racist. We are not supposed to talk about it, you know.

Nor are we allowed to question the decision of our government to import some 80,000 Somalis into the US just as European countries have brought in tens of thousands to their lands. Many have returned to Somalia to join Al Shabaab. The Westgate Mall attack in Kenya involved some Somalis who had been living in America. Will that be the case again once the dust settles in this massacre?

The Menendez Indictment

I would be the last one to defend Robert Menendez, the senator from New Jersey, whom I have long suspected to be corrupt. If that is the case, I welcome the indictment.

It must be asked, however, whether this indictment was politically driven. Remember that Menendez, a Democrat, had recently broken ranks with the Obama administration over the Iran nuke deal and the shameful treatment Obama has given to Israel. It is true that the investigation pre-dated Menendez's public criticism of the negotiations, but pending indictments can be quashed, as we have seen in the past.

The question I ask is whether this indictment would have been brought had Menendez been on board with Obama's negotiations with Iran and his treatment of Israel.

John Kerry Won't Give Up

                                                                           Submission

By my calculations, midnight Wednesday has arrived. Other foreign ministers have gone  home, but John Kerry remains in Switzerland, still trying to give away the Sudetenland.

But we're still going to drive a hard bargain. Right.

DOJ Won't Prosecute Lois Lerner For Contempt

Is anybody surprised here? Did anybody really think that this Justice Dept. was going to prosecute Lois Lerner for contempt?

Christian "Privilege" at Appalachian State University

Hat tip Campus Reform

In the interest of "full disclosure", my mother attended Appalachian State University back when it was known as Appalachian State Teachers College. So it was with feigned interest that I read the below report on how Christians there supposedly enjoy some sort of privilege.

Somebody should send this article to all the Christians in Iraq and Syria so they will be aware of all the privileges they enjoy.

If you are wondering what a Spring Admit is, so was I. Hell, I teach in the University of California system, and I never heard of the term until now.

Women's Issues Clash With Political Correctness and "Inclusivity" at Univ South Dakota

Hat tip Florida Family Council and The Volante

It doesn't seem possible, but Gender Studies at the University of S Dakota is in conflict with other professors and the Council on American Islamic Relations over a screening of the film, Honor Diaries.

http://floridafamily.org/full_article.php?article_no=457

This once again reminds us that feminism runs up against a brick wall when it comes to confronting Islamic abuses against women. It is indeed an area where many feminists don't want to go.

Here is a current editorial from The Volante, USD's campus paper.
