Georgetown professor Jonathan AC Brown is back in the news again. For those who don't know, Brown has been associated with Georgetown University's deceptively-named Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. He is a Muslim convert and the son-in-law of deported terrorist supporter Sami al-Arian, a former professor at the University of South Florida.
Brown has previously stirred controversy over remarks which appeared to justify slavery under Islam.
Now, in the wake of the US strike against Iran's nuclear facilities, Brown has reportedly posted words on social media hoping that Iran will strike a (US) base (symbolically). His post appears below
Wow. Does this character really want to see Iran, a terrorist nation, attacking a US base-even symbolically?
Well, I'm not an expert either, but I would think that Georgetown University should be seriously considering whether they want to have this man representing their university (even symbolically).
