Same victim attacked last Friday in another city
In Neuilly-sur-Seine, France today, a rabbi was attacked by a 28-year-old Palestinian man as he sat at an outdoor cafe. The attacker hit the rabbi in the face with a chair and was quickly apprehended by passersby who held him until police arrived.
Last Friday, the same victim was attacked in Deauville by 3 men who insulted him "in a foreign language".
In the interest of time, we have only translated the first 5 paragraphs of the article in Le Figaro. The rest of the article is devoted to statements of condemnation and the backdrop of anti-Semitism in France. In addition, the article is still being updated by Le Figaro, so there may be some discrepancies.
The article also has video of the attacker being caught by witnesses with French subtitles, which we are in the process of translating into English. You will note that the face of the attacker is blurred out. However, the French site, Francois desouche also has video in which the face of the attacker is clear.
Another clear example of how the intifada is being globalized. Remember that the next time you hear someone in the US screaming that phrase.
At Deauville then at Neuilly, a rabbi attacked two times in one week.

One minute ago.
On Friday, a Palestinian in the country illegally threw a chair in the face of Elie Lemmel, seated in a cafe. The 28-year-old man was placed in custody.
The suspect threw a table in the face of the rabbi, seated with an acquaintance at an outdoor cafe. The 28-year-old Palestinian, who comes from Germany, according to a police source, is illegally in (Germany) but benefits from a specific statute, a Duldung, that is, a "tolerated residence" in Germany for foreigners who cannot be deported (because their country of origin doesn't want them). He is illegally in France, unknown to police services.
"I have a beard and a kippa on my head, I am recognizable."
"He struck me very violently from behind, (and) I found myself on the ground, the rabbi told RTL (news). Passersby chased him and captured him. I have a beard and a kippah on my head; I am recognizable, and I call that a crime of profiling. To find myself in such a situation in France is distressing." In spite of a large hematoma, visible in the photos spread on social media, "The scan is OK. He is very shocked," his son stated.
Last Friday, Rabbi Lemmel, slightly injured and insulted, "in a foreign language," by three attackers, filed a complaint at the police station in Deauville. A judicial investigation is in progress for "violence without (the result) of incapacity for work, committed on the grounds of religion."
