As previously posted, UC Irvine this week is dealing with one of those pro-Hamas encampments on its campus. I had been wondering if Irvine mayor, Farrah Khan, would allow her police to assist UC Irvine campus police in case serious disturbances broke out (as they did last night at UCLA.) This is her statement on Instagram posted earlier this week.
Question answered.
*Update: Here is a letter sent to Khan by the Jewish Federation of Orange County (who apparently have finally woken up to the problem of campus anti-Semitism at UC Irvine).
