Austria: Imam Ali Shia Mosque in Vienna Has Quite a History

Yesterday, we translated an Austrian news article in which a young man was twice beaten inside a Vienna mosque when he went to ask questions about the ongoing suppression in Iran. The Imam Ali Mosque in the 21st District of Vienna (Floridsdorf) is apparently run by the government of Iran. In 2019, the mosque was deemed by the local authorities to be operating illegally and was ordered to cease operations. (That has apparently been ignored.)

The below article from Mein Bezirk (Austria) is translated by Fousesquawk.

Now it is official: The building police have banned the operation of an Islamic prayer house in an office building on the Richard-Neutra-Gasse (* A gasse is normally a narrow street or alley.)

Floridsdorf: As of today, it is clear: In Floridsdorf, more precisely, on the Richard-Neutra-Gasse, there will be no mosque. The leader of the building police, Gerhard Cech, confirmed this to Radio Vienna. The authority, referencing the building codes, prohibited the mosque from necessary conversation measures in the building by notice. In addition, the operation of a mosque in an industrial zone is prohibited.

The owner of the property, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as operator of the mosque, initially appealed the decision, (but) has, in the meantime, withdrawn it. Therefore the decision of the building police is in full force.

Mosque was in headlines for months

The mosque was in the headlines since spring, when the building police initiated proceedings. Numerous indications finally established that, in fact, a mosque operation was being operated here illegally. The "Imam Ali" Islamic Center (IZIA) protested at that time that neither hate nor violence was being preached in the mosque and denied these accusations. The present decision of the building police means the final end for the mosque.

The below article is from Oesterreich 24 (Austria 24) and was posted in October 2022. It concerns the mosque's affiliation with the Iranian regime and its honoring of Ayatollah Khomeini. Translation by Fousesquawk.

Iran operating hate center in the middle of Vienna

In spite of the ban, the Islam center on Richard-Neutra-Gasse runs at full speed.

Floridsdorf. Two years ago, Oesterreich (Austria) discovered that an illegal mosque was being run on a property belonging to the Iranian embassy on Richard-Neutra-Gasse in Floridsdorf.

According to Oesterreich, the Mullah regime is now sending out invitations via telegram groups for its hate preachers. In the middle of an industrial zone, they are on a propaganda tour for the misogynistic ayatollahs-although religious and school events are banned there per an objection from the Vienna building police.

New joke with a non-profit limited company

That is why, according to Imam Ali spokesman, Hosain Bakhsh, there is an official,  non-profit limited company operating there under the name Imam Ali, which has nothing to do with the religious association, and whose owner is Montazeri Moghaddam (42).

Khomeini commemoration

How the invitation to the "Dear sisters," who are invited to a Nodbah-Supplication ceremony on October 7 at 10 am, remains open. Also clear is that it is a religious event. "The blessed ceremony of the Komeil Supplication, together with teaching recitations and Tajweed,". This would be held on Thursday, October 6, "one hour before the Maghrib prayer". The highlight of the year was a commemoration for Ayatollah Khomeini, the deceased leader of the Iranian revolution on June 4.

Women haters

While the whole world imposes sanctions against the brutal misogynists in Teheran, Austria-once again-looks the other way.
