The wife of the Swedish-connected terror leader, Abdulkadir Mumin in Somalia has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for having organized financial transactions for the local ISIS group.

At the end of January, a military court in Somalia sentenced the wife of Abdulkadir Mumim, leader of the ISIS group in the country, to 8 years in prison for having passed on information and organizing financial transactions for the group.

Abdulkadir Mumin resided in the Gothenburg neighborhood of Hjällbo in the 1990s and a bit into the 2000s, and he was active with the Bellevue Mosque. Later he moved from Sweden and via Great Britain, arrived in Somalia where he obtained a high position within the terror group, al-Shabaab.

In 2015, he swore allegiance to the Islamic State terror group, and today, he leads a local faction of the group in Somalia.

Fartun Abdirashid, wife of Abdulkadir Mumin, has been in custody since she was arrested in March of last year in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, writes AP New Bureau. She is accused of having regularly transferred 100-200 dollars to group members.

She worked together with Bilal Al-Sudaani, a highly-ranked ISIS official, who was in killed in January in an American raid in Somalia.
