Sweden: School Attack Leaves Two Dead

 At about 1700 hours on Monday Sweden time, police responded to a high school in the southern city of Malmo. They were called by a suspect, an 18-year-old student, who stated that he had killed two people. When police arrived, they found two women employees of the school in their 50s both dead. They had been killed by a knife, ax, or combination. The 18-year-old student was arrested and is charged with murder.

At this point, we do not know the identity of the attacker or the motive. We will follow the details as they become known.

A student arrested suspected of murder

Two women in their 50s have died after an attack at a high school in Malmo on Monday. The women were employed at the school, according to police.

*Update: The Swedish alternative media site, Fria Tider, is reporting that the suspect's name is Fabian Cederholm. The article goes on to state that Cederholm's behavior had started to change over the winter, and that he had become prone to outbursts of anger. His motive remains unknown at this point.
