Sweden Shooting in Shopping Center Leaves Three Wounded. 3 Young Men in Custody.

On Tuesday, three suspects opened fire at a shopping center in the Swedish town of Kristianstad leaving three victims in their wake. The three victims, described as two men in their 20s and a 60-year-old female, are hospitalized with serious injuries. Three young men, believed to be in their teens, are in custody.

Of course, the police and media are not reporting on the background of the suspects, but it is pretty obvious at this point that it is related to (immigrant) gang activity in the area.  The identities of the victims are also not revealed nor if they were targeted or caught in a crossfire.

The below article from Samtiden is translated by Fousesquawk. We will try to follow up with a translated video.

*Update August 5: The three suspects have now been released from custody though they are still considered suspects.

Young perpetrators, under 18 years of age, drove with mopeds or motorcycles into the Gamlegårdens shopping center in Kristianstad. Panic broke out when they opened fire.

"They drove into the shopping center with mopeds. I saw two who sat on the moped. Then they shot," says 12-year-old Adrian to Aftonbladet

Mothers screamed and children ran in panic

The attack occurred in the middle of the afternoon when there were many people in the area. In addition, there were about 10 children in a play area in the shopping center. 12-year-old Adrian was standing at the door opening of the activity house when the shooters came riding in.

"Mothers were screaming and running with their children. Meanwhile, other people were backing away. I myself ran to an exit. Some other children ran after me," says Adrian.

Morgan Johansson tweets about journalists' class background

The same day this dramatic incident occurred, and which shows that Sweden has many serious problems with aggravated crime, the justice minister devoted himself to arguing on social media about the social background of journalists.
