"I take responsibility for trusting the word of a neighborhood salon that I've been to over the years many times, and that when they said that we're able to accommodate people one person at a time and that we could set up that time, I trusted that," said Pelosi at an event focused on the pandemic's impact on education.
"As it turns out, it was a set up. So I take responsibility for falling for the set up," Pelosi said at a press conference in San Francisco.
"This salon owes me an apology," she added.
One of Southern California's oldest TV news channels is KTLA. It also happens to be quite liberal and fastidiously follows the rules of political correctness. When they are not "reporting" the news, they like to have local actors and actresses appear on set for an interview about their latest cinematographic endeavor. Unfortunately, they are also the Missus' favorite channel for local news.
So yesterday morning, I happened to see them, not once, but twice report on the Nancy Pelosi hair salon flap while naturally slanting the coverage to Nancy's side of the story. Twice they ran Nancy's videotaped explanation of why she went to get her hair done while other salons remain closed to the public. Pelosi will never admit wrongdoing or mistakes. This is no exception. She was "set up".
During KTLA's TV coverage yesterday morning, they stressed the hair stylist's defense of Pelosi and repeated unverified allegations that the salon owner had been repeatedly violating the regulations during the Covid lock down.
Here is their written report.

"Conservatives pounced, casting Pelosi as a hypocrite."
Are they referring to me?
