It looks like the Cleveland Indians are going to finally bow to political correctness and are considering changing their name. Not that the word, "Indian", in itself is racist; it is a misnomer that goes all the way back in history to Adolf Hitler's,great-great-great-great grandfather, Christopher Columbus. But it is that logo that really has people riled up.
But what about the tradition? It's a name that goes back over 100 years! Besides, when I was 12 years old, I pitched my team (the Indians) to our little league championship, red t-shirts and all.
There must be a solution......... I got it!
Now we just gotta do something about Cleveland.
