Hat tip John
Amid all the noise over the removal of statues-in this case-that of Christopher Columbus, here is one perspective that has been overlooked. Columbus was actually an Italian from Genoa, not a Spaniard as some erroneously think. His actual Italian name was Cristoforo Colombo. Thus, he is a source of great pride within the Italian-American community for his 1492 venture to the Americas.
Here is the view from one unnamed Italian-American gentleman from New Jersey. Oh, for all you snowflakes out there, there is a bit of potty language, so viewer warning.
Very well stated, Sir.
