Robert Mueller and Fusion GPS

"Fusion GPS? Why that's outside my purview, by Jove."

For those of us who have been following the Deep State efforts to submarine President Trump beginning during the 2016 election, we are well aware of who Fusion GPS is (unlike the hapless Robert Mueller). This is the research firm that went out and hired former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele to compile that infamous Russian Dossier-all paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign. We also knew that DOJ official Bruce Ohr, who was in contact with Steele as he (Ohr) coordinated with people like Peter Stzrok, Lisa Page and Andrew McCabe, was married to a Fusion GPS employee, Nellie Ohr.

But if that doesn't stink enough, we also now know that Fusion GPS boss Glenn Simpson was involved with that  mysterious Russian attorney who met with Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort at that much-ballyhooed Trump Tower meeting in June 2016.

The Trump Tower meeting, involving a lady known as Natalia Veselnitskaya, has been referred to as the "smoking gun" that proved President Trump and his campaign conspired with the Russians in their meddling in the election. Veselnitskaya was supposed to have had dirt on Hillary Clinton. Instead, her focus at the meeting reportedly had to do with Russian-American adoption regulations.

But here is where it gets interesting: We now know that on the days prior to and following the meeting, Veselnitskaya met with none other than Fusion GPS' Glenn Simpson. Of course when this was raised during this week's Mueller hearing, the hapless Mr Mueller stated that it was one of those 200 or so items that was outside of his purview. The Trump Tower meeting was within his purview, but Mr Simpson's meetings with the mysterious Ms Veselnitskaya before and after were outside his purview. How convenient.

If you look at Mr Ohr's Wikipedia entry, you will see that he is sympathetically described as a "target of right-wing conpiracy theorists". But it doesn't take a conspiracy theorist to raise a red flag and say that something is wrong here. Mueller was investigating Trump for alleged collusion with the Russians while ignoring the efforts of the Clinton campaign and her fans in the FBI to submarine Trump-not to mention their own Russian collusion. Then you look at the conflicts and questionable associations between the Ohrs-Fusion GPS-Steele-Simpson-Veselnitskaya, and you can only wonder what the Near-Sighted Mr Mueller's real purview was.

This entire Mueller report was designed as a kill-shot at Trump. The investigators knew that it was a sham from the beginning. Unfortunately for Mueller and his team, they could not find anything, which was fortunate for Trump. "From nothing, nothing is created." The second Mueller volume concluded that the team could not "exonerate" Trump is pure garbage based on "you are guilty until proven innocent. BTW, exonerate is not a legal term.
The bottom line is that the Democrats have no one to challenge Trump in the 2020 election, who is worth anything. So, they have to get rid of Trump by impeachment, based on nothing. California legislators have gone as far to legislate that Trump needs to turn over his taxes in order to be put on the ballot. Talk about election interference. this is far beyond Russian standards.
