Representative Katie Porter (D-CA) won election in 2018 over incumbant Mimi Walters in an election that was only decided several days after election day when harvested ballots erased Walters' lead. There have been unconfirmed reports that many of those who were harvesting the ballots were undocumented "Dreamers". Porter, prior to her election, was a law professor at UC Irvine's Law School, a factory for progressive activist lawyers in training.
The below report alleges that Porter was recruited by and paid a handsome salary by then California Attorney General Kamala Harris as a "watchdog" of bank settlement funds.
