Ever since Ilhan Omar (D-MN) set foot in Congress this year, she (and her freshman colleagues, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) has brought nothing but embarrassment to the Democrats. Omar especially, with her anti-semitic statements, one aftre another, have led even some of her party colleagues to condemn her words. Now the Dems, trying to repair the damage, are trying to craft a resolution that would condemn

And now, South Carolina Democrat James Clyburn has made his own gaffe, defending Omar by saying that her experiences were more personal than those of the children of Holocaust survivors. Wow.
And never forget Linda Sarsour, not an elected official, but one filled with ugliness in her own right. Now that Nancy Pelosi has criticized Omar (sort of), Sarsour is attacking Pelosi as a "white feminist".

So as things stand now, the resolution would condemn anti-semitism, Islamophobia, and white supremacy. Islamist supremacy? Not a chance. Nor will it condemn the very form of bigotry that has brought this mess about in the first place. That would be Islamic anti-semitism, as expressed by Ms Omar.
