Miko Peled (R) visiting Mufid Abdulqadar in prison.
On February 7, Miko Peled, a thin-skinned anti-Israel activist from Southern California, took his act to Bucknell University, invited by English professor, Michael Drexler. The event was co-sponsored by several academic departments, which in practical terms, means that they put their imprimatur on Peled's poisonous content-unless of course, they invite someone else to speak with an opposing point of view. (Don't hold your breath.) Below is the report from the campus paper, The Bucknellian. It appears from reading the article that Peled was his usual angry self, and that some at Bucknell found his tone troubling.

I have added my reader comment to the online article. In addition to my critical comments about Peled, I also expressed my reaction to Drexler's comment about making Jews on campus uncomfortable. (Drexler is apparently himself Jewish.) Far too many times I have heard these characters make similar comments about making Jews feel uncomfortable on various campuses. Unfortunately, many Jewish students are, indeed, being made to feel uncomfortable in the form of bullying and harassment not to mention the increasing appearance of swastikas on campus. Far too many universities have shown an unwillingness to protect their Jewish students from this treatment at the hands of pro-Palestinian bullies, thugs, and other assorted anti-semites.
I caught Peled's act at UC Irvine in 2013 when he and his sponsors (Muslim Student Union) objected to my videotaping. I refused to stop, and the university's dean of students backed me up. Peled reacted angrily, but there was nothing he could do.
It should be mentioned that Peled, originally an Israeli, is the son of a prominent Israeli general. I guess he found Dad's shoes too big to fill.
