There are conflicting reports, but it appears that Rahaf Mohammed Alqunun, the Saudi girl who fled her parents in Kuwait attempting to travel to Australia while renouncing Islam, has been accepted by Canada and will be flying there this evening-at least according to this report.

I will await confirmation that Alqunun is either in Canada or Australia before breathing a sigh of relief. However, wherever she winds up, that country will have to provide some measure of security for her to protect her from the crazies roaming around both countries who are fully capable of carrying out the dictates of sharia law-vigilante style.
