Outrage: Cop Killer Mumia Abdul Jamal Granted New Appeal
Thirty seven years ago, Mumia Abdul Jamal murdered Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in cold blood. He was quickly captured. The evidence was overwhelming, and he was convicted and sentenced to death. After years of legal back and forth, his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment without parole. Meanwhile, he became a darling of the left and the university crowd.
Now a judge has granted Abu Jamal another appeal on the flimsiest of reasons.

This animal should have been executed years ago. Unfortunately, when you have the left on your side celebrating you as a hero/victim, they never give up. For an example of just how outrageous his supporters are, one needs look no further than Freemumia.com. Look at how they describe this creep. Among other insane claims, they state that his trial did not meet "international standards". Yet what other country has a fairer system of justice than ours?
I can only pray that this appeal goes nowhere and Abu Jamal dies in prison. My prayers also go out to Faulkner's widow, whose ordeal is now being prolonged.

Mumia abu-Jamal wasn't "quickly captured," he was found at the scene with a bullet wound in his stomach. The preponderance of the evidence (including all the testimony and physical evidence that the police suppressed) is that Jamal objected to Officer Faulkner's unprovoked harassment of Jamal's brother, a cab driver, Faulkner shot Jamal, and an unknown person in the crowd shot Faulkner while Jamal was doubled over in pain on the ground.
Of course he should get a new appeal. He's a good journalist too, and it would be great to see him released. Naturally, once the police have focused on a suspect, they let all evidence pointing in any other direction go, so it will be impossible to locate the man who actually killed Officer Faulkner. Hopefully he hasn't killed anyone else while police were focused on Jamal.
