Los Angeles: Somali Car Attacker Claims Insanity

It's the default defense every time a Muslim in the West goes on the attack against non-Muslims. He's obviously insane. That's what the defense is claiming in the case of Mohamed Abdi Mohamed, from Somalia, who tried to run down a couple of orthodox Jews on an LA street outside a synagogue last month.

This is the legacy of our misguided involvement in the Somali civil war of the 1990s. Along with the infamous Black Hawk Down incident, the US also decided to bring some 80,000 Somali refugees to the US in the 1990s. The Europeans did likewise, and the results, in most cases, have not been good. This is just another case of a failed immigration policy.
